Humanist Transhumanist: 2019 Edition - Now available as a Kindle Edition from Amazon
by Lee-Anne Raymond and Demetrios Vakras
Humanist Transhumanist - An Umbrella and Two Surrealists, was an art exhibition held by artists Lee-Anne Raymond and Demetrios Vakras in 2009 and was timed to coincide with an exhibition of the works of Salvador Dalí being held in Melbourne, Australia, at the time. The exhibition had the intention of correcting a growing misunderstanding of what surrealism is, and to return to its original principles. An original publication, "Humanist Transhumanist", was produced by the artists in 2009 to accompany their exhibition.
This 2019 publication is released on the 10 year anniversary of the original. Included is an epilogue outlining the disastrous consequences of this exhibition. It features the surreal, fantastic and symbolist art of Australian Surrealist artists Lee-Anne Raymond and Demetrios Vakras.
"Humanist Transhumanist 2019 Edition" is fully illustrated, with 30 colour and 6 b&w reproductions of the artists’ works.
This Kindle edition sold on Amazon replaces the print edition which is no longer available.
